Lauren & Dan’s Hilton Head Wedding

Lauren & Dan’s Classic & Welcoming Hilton Head Wedding was truly an emotionally impactful day that makes your heart swell.  They met on a church retreat, and they’ve been inseparable ever since . “We met on the back of a bus – just like middle school but in our mid-30s.”

Their primary goal from day one was to make their guests welcome and comfortable. “We have had a wonderful community walk alongside of each of us for a long time and we were excited to share this event in our lives with them.” The wedding was set at Lauren’s family home in Hilton Head Island, SC. With guests attending from across the US, it was important to create an atmosphere that fit their coast to coast vibe.

Because of their strong tie to their family and friends, each detail of their wedding had a personal touch. A few examples are her dad’s favorite bourbons at the speak easy style bourbon bar at the end of the dock to her grandmother’s baskets holding the ceremony programs. They chose the band so that her and her dad could dance. Dan’s northern California roots inspired the ferns fronds in the floral arrangements. Each moment of Lauren and Dan’s Classic & Welcoming Hilton Head Wedding was carefully crafted to be a personal reflection of their story.
