Pamela called me around Christmas for their Haig Point Wedding on Daufuskie Island. We had a great talk about her and Jess and really clicked on that first call. I knew that this couple was special, and we would have an amazing time working together.

Jump to the wedding day. If you are already familiar with the beautiful Dafuskie Island and Hilton Head Island, you also know that the weather can be fairly unpredictable, radar or no radar. With an hour and a half to go before their ceremony, a pop-up rain storm decided to skirt over where their reception was supposed to be held outside. It down poured Luckily, we had an amazing crew on the team that day. The entire reception was transported by golf carts to the Club ballroom. My team of assistants even went so far as to dry chairs with a blow dryer while I led the ceremony!

When Pamela & Jess made their entrance into the reception, their faces said it all. We did it. The guests enjoyed the live band, Bourbon Bar, and amazing food from Haig Point. The cake was absolutely stunning, and they wrapped up the evening with a sparkler sendoff. The rest of the day went off like a dream, and we are still loving the photos.
